  • 2006 Up/Downmix and CCS for realizing 3D stereo surround sound in two-channel speakers won the second prize of the      3rd Hiwin Thesis Award with a cash prize of 600,000 NTD
  • 2006 Awarded NTD 300,000 by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) for the development of an embedded      3D sound digital signal processing module for external speakers of MP3 mobile phones
  • In 2006, National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) received the "Silver Wings Award" for the 95th Annual Outstanding      Contribution Award for Industry-University Technology Exchanges. The spirit of this award is to encourage and support the      outstanding contribution of our faculty research teams in their commitment to technological foresight and innovation, and      to help the industry improve its competitiveness and quality of performance through targeted technology licensing, with      the following information: the outstanding research teams of the technology licensing agreements signed between NCTU      and industry during the year. The award was presented by the President of the University at the second meeting of the      University's Board of Directors this year
